MSI developed energy efficiency project for GOSH Enterprises encompassing multiple upgrades to a 150k sq ft class A office space in Upper Arlington, OH
UPPER ARLINGTON CENTER BECOMES NEW ENERGY-EFFICIENT CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS FOR GOSH ENTERPRISES COLUMBUS (FRANKLIN COUNTY).
GOSH is a multi-restaurant company which owns BIBIBOP Asian Grill, Charleys Philly Steaks and Lennys Grill & Subs. The project, which received nearly $6.7 million in bond financing, includes equipping the building with energy-efficient upgrades, including HVAC, building controls, LED lighting, roof replacement, and a 500k rooftop solar array. MSI procured all components of upgrades, including selection of engineering, project bidding and strategic direction for all components as well as incentive and program direction and project management.

• Produces a combined energy savings of more than 25%
• 1,911,574 kWH in energy savings (or $173,570 annually)
• Reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 3.2 million pounds annually
• Reduces sulfur dioxide emissions by nearly 2,500 pounds annually
• Reduces nitrogen dioxide emissions by more than 2,600 pounds annually
• Provides between $86,410-$194,958 in public health savings annually
• Retains four existing positions
